We are always proud to receive messages from fanciers who race well with the descendants of our pigeons. The Vercammen pigeons are for instance very popular in Taiwan. The last years many Taiwanese Ace-pigeons were won with the Vercammen blood in the pedigree. The loft of Mr. Green has got an impressive team of Vercammen breeders at their breeding loft. They focus almost only on the Vercammen birds. This strategy has brought them a lot of success.
The loft of Mr. Green was without any doubt the victorious winner in the ‘Summer Races’ of their region. For those who are not familiar with these Taiwanese races, they can read here a short description. After some qualifying races to train the birds, the six main races start. The pigeons have only got a limited time to get home. If they are too late, they are disqualified and can’t participate to the next race.
The six main races are as follows:
Race 1: 250km (150km across the sea)
Race 2: 280km (180km across the sea)
Race 3: 310km (210km across the sea)
Race 4: 340km (240km across the sea)
Race 5: 370km (270km across the sea)
Race 6: 400km (300km across the sea)
Of course, flying across the sea is not easy for the pigeons. Luckily most pigeons made it home from these extremely hard flights.
Mr. Green was the glorious winner of this competition. He won the 1st Ace-pigeon over all the six races. And op top of that, he had the 1st and 3rd Ace-pigeon over five races. Sensational! These two winning pigeons are both 100% Vercammen pigeons! In this competition more than 2,500 pigeons were flying. Remarkable is that Mr. Green had only four pigeons for these main races and two of them became big winners! These two Ace-pigeons were not the average kind of birds. They were not only very regular, they also won different top prizes. This remarkable performance has caused a lot of attention in the Taiwanese pigeon sport.
The 1st Ace-pigeon over six races (called “Shadow A81’) and 3rd Ace-pigeon over five races is a cock. His father is a grandchild to “Mambo”(B08-6144041). His mother is a grandchild to “Elektro”(B08-6174630).

The 1st Ace-pigeon over five races (called “Casino A86”) is a hen. Her father is a grandchild to “Elektro”(B08-6174630). Her mother is a grandchild to “Bolo”(B06-6270152) x “Polina”(B08-6174628). They are the parents to “Aladdin”(B09-6248081), 1° fast. National Bourges (479km) 64,621 pigeons.

In the pedigree of both Ace-pigeons the name of “Elektro”(B08-6174630) can be found again. It is really impressive how his off springs can dominate the races all over the world. The percentage of people succeeding with the descendants of “Elektro”(B08-6174630) is really incredibly high. Would it be an exaggeration to call him one of the best breeders in the world of the last decade?

Also in previous years the family of these new Ace-pigeons has performed excellently at the loft of Mr. Green. We will give you some examples:
2015. He had the second Ace-pigeon over 5 races. Only two birds were able to qualify for the last race. This bird was one of them. This Ace-pigeon has got the same origin as “Casino A86”.
2016. He had Ace-pigeon number 27 and 38. Same line as “Shadow A81” and “Casino A86”.
2017. The race was canceled because the birds did not return on time from the second race.
2018. The team of Mr. Green won Ace-pigeon number 6, 15, 22 and 25. Same line as “Shadow A81” and “Casino A86”.
2019. Ace-pigeon number one over 5 and 6 races.
