For the young birds it was not easy on their first national race ever with these strong tailwinds and the birds coming for the East. We started with 43° National Bourges (472km) against 20,328 birds. It was the checkered cock BE23-6062041, a full brother to “Blanca 1”(BE21-6138132). They descend from the top pair “Ito”(BE17-6025336) x “Princess Elektro”(BE17-6025201).

Our super hen “Blanca 1”(BE21-6138132) was still missing when most of our birds were already long time at home from the national Bourges (472km) race. We knew something was wrong as “Blanca 1”(BE21-6138132) always flies in top of the race. She is never too late. Around 6.30 pm we saw a injured pigeon arriving, it was “Blanca 1”(BE21-6138132)… Her leg is broken, she was slightly bleeding and she lost her electronic ring. We are just thankful that she is still alive.
Of course her racing season is finished now. We can think now whole winter long if she is going to the breeding loft or that we will continue racing her one more year.
As you can read above, our first youngster from the national Bourges (472km) race was again a full brother to “Blanca 1”(BE21-6138132). Their parents, “Ito”(BE17-6025336) x “Princess Elektro”(BE17-6025201), form together a real top breeding pair.
