Phenomenal racing weekend (Part 2/2)

In part 1 we have already presented the birds that flew top prizes on the Chevrain race in the weekend of 17 June. In this article we will tell you something more about the semi-long distance race Blois (462km) and the national long distance race Brive (704km).

If you want a recap of the weather circumstances on 17 June: headwinds and high temperatures. This is the kind of weather in which our birds normally excel. And so they did!

Our first arrival on the Blois (462km) race was the beautiful blue hen B16-6032005. She wins the 1° prize in our strong club St. Job. Her parents are new young breeders. Her father is bred from “Dodge”(B14-6175321) who is a full brother to superstar “Mustang”(B14-6175237). “Mustang” won 1° fast. National Chateauroux (526km) 33,018 pigeons. Her mother is a half-sister to “Joker”(B12-6196314).

Our second arrival was the checkered hen B16-6032067. She is a direct daughter to our superbreeder “Elektro”(B08-6174630). Her mother is “Delphine”(B11-6282004). She is a full sister to top birds as “Elektro Junior”(B16-6032012), “Didi”(B16-6032013) and “Samsung”(B15-6026082). B16-6032067 was our second nominated bird on this race. She is one of our most talented racing hens. Earlier this year she already won 1° fast. Noyon (208km) 786 p.

Our third arrival was the checkered hen B16-6032051. She is a granddaughter to“Elektro”(B08-6174630) and “Barco”(B01-6387350). Her father is a full brother to “Elektro Junior”(B16-6032012) and “Samsung”(B15-6026082), who won the first prize on this race. Her mother is the top breeding hen “Siri”(B06-6411619). “Siri” is amongst others grandmother to “Olympic Eva”(B14-6175226), Olympic Ace-pigeon Cat. C Long Distance (+500km) 2017 Brussels

Our fourth pigeon was the checkered hen B16-6032196. She is one of our best performing hens. Her father is a full brother to “Aladdin”(B09-6248081), 1° fast. National Bourges (479km) 64,621 pigeons. Her mother is a daughter to “Beckham”(B01-6387174).

The final race of the weekend was the long distance race Brive (704km). It was a very tough race. Our first arrival flew almost 11 hours. We won the first and second prize in our club St. Job with a lead of more than 20 minutes on number three. We had to compete against famous names as Geerinckx, Jos Joosen and Van Olmen so it was quite the performance! On the provincial level we won 4° and 8° provincial!

Our first prize winner was the beautiful checkered white flight cock “Mr. Brive”(B15-6026268). His father is a son to “Vitara”(B10-6052150), 1st Provincial Ace-pigeon KBDB Semi-long distance. His father is a grandson to “Elektro”(B08-6174630) as well. His mother is bred from the nest-sister to “Elektro”(B08-6174630) who is mother to a.o. “Lotus”(B12-6196084). “Mr. Brive”(B15-6026268) has already a very promising daughter who won a.o. 1° Noyon 656 birds.

Our second bird was the checkered cock B15-6026089. His a talented racer on the national races 550-750km. His father is “Rikky”(B12-6196217), a proven breeder on our loft. His mother is a daughter to “Beckham”(B01-6387174).
